I was going to listen to another song and draw another picture... but then my brother sent me this and I couldn't stop listening.... Anyhow, two drawings today! Once is an actual drawing from a picture i took on my phone. The picture I like... the drawing I do not. But it was good practice. :) The other one.... was just what I felt like doodling.

I've been having a lot of trouble finding inspiration lately. Maybe it's summer or maybe I've just got too much on my mind... or maybe I've just been lazy. Whatever the reason, I thought a good way to break out of this art block of sorts was to start drawing a picture a day once again. This time, however, I'm changing it up a little. (I decided this just now) Anyhow, the plan is to continue to be inspired by a certain song each day, but also to kind of capture a moment of the day as well. An experience, or feeling... Almost like a journal in songs and imagery. Should be fun?

50 days of drawings complete! On to something new...?

So after 50 days worth of songs and drawings, I think it's time to do something else. Recently, I've been putting a lot of thought into my painting, and wondering if I wanted to start a new series. I have a few concepts, but I'm still not sure which one I'll go with yet... Pretty much most of my ideas involve music in some way. I'm thinking I'm going to go down to once or twice a week, though. It's been a great exercise for me, making myself draw daily, but I think I need a rest... :)

Again with the brains and profiles... I always think I'll really enjoy Animal Collective if I can find the right time and mood for them. So far, that has yet to happen... but I definitely don't dislike them. I just randomly picked one of their songs... This is possibly my first time hearing it.
