After a long day of tedious drawing for homework... I'll end the day with one of my favorite things to draw. Faces. :)

Hey there! After a very long absence, I've decided to start blogging my art again! I haven't been keeping up with my daily drawing, and if I want to take my art seriously, it is something I must do. So here we go! Expect to see some art later today or tomorrow! :)

I was going to listen to another song and draw another picture... but then my brother sent me this and I couldn't stop listening.... Anyhow, two drawings today! Once is an actual drawing from a picture i took on my phone. The picture I like... the drawing I do not. But it was good practice. :) The other one.... was just what I felt like doodling.

Horse Feathers - Belly of June (I'm back!)

I've been having a lot of trouble finding inspiration lately. Maybe it's summer or maybe I've just got too much on my mind... or maybe I've just been lazy. Whatever the reason, I thought a good way to break out of this art block of sorts was to start drawing a picture a day once again. This time, however, I'm changing it up a little. (I decided this just now) Anyhow, the plan is to continue to be inspired by a certain song each day, but also to kind of capture a moment of the day as well. An experience, or feeling... Almost like a journal in songs and imagery. Should be fun?

50 days of drawings complete! On to something new...?

So after 50 days worth of songs and drawings, I think it's time to do something else. Recently, I've been putting a lot of thought into my painting, and wondering if I wanted to start a new series. I have a few concepts, but I'm still not sure which one I'll go with yet... Pretty much most of my ideas involve music in some way. I'm thinking I'm going to go down to once or twice a week, though. It's been a great exercise for me, making myself draw daily, but I think I need a rest... :)
